Introduction:
With 25 years of experience in orthopedic clinical practice, research, and education, Prof. Cai possesses extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders and osteoporosis. He is highly skilled in multiple minimally invasive spinal techniques, including spinal endoscopy, UBE-TLIF, and OLIF, consistently achieving excellent clinical outcomes. Having performed over 5,000 spinal surgeries, he has accumulated profound clinical experience in managing degenerative spinal conditions such as lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, various types of cervical spondylosis, and thoracic spinal stenosis, as well as spinal fractures, spinal deformities, and osteoporosis.
Prof. Cai has served as the principal investigator for multiple research projects funded by the Central University Basic Research Fund and provincial-level Natural Science Foundations. He has supervised 10 postgraduate students to completion and has authored more than 20 publications in SCI-indexed and core Chinese journals.
