Specializes in various chronic nasal and sinus conditions, nasal polyps, allergic rhinitis, nasal septal deviation, nasal septal perforation, refractory epistaxis, pediatric sinusitis, adenoid hypertrophy, functional endoscopic sinus surgery and minimally invasive treatment for naso-ocular/ naso-cranial disorders, and functional endoscopic and minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the nose and sinuses; also specializes in minimally invasive pharyngoplasty. As one of the few early pioneers in China dedicated to clinical research on functional and minimally invasive nasal treatments, he has performed thousands of endoscopic nasal surgeries to date.

Academic Achievements:
Published over 30 papers in various prestigious domestic and international journals; independently developed a multimedia nasal endoscopy follow-up system and a multimedia medical record documentation system; designed multiple surgical instruments that have been adopted and applied in clinical settings, with four of them receiving national utility model patents; Through nearly 40 years of clinical research, a progressive diagnostic and therapeutic strategy integrating macro and micro approaches has been developed for nasal inflammatory diseases. This strategy encompasses: establishing a comprehensive, integrated holistic diagnostic and therapeutic philosophy; creating a rational and complete minimally invasive treatment system; and pioneering a series of sophisticated and refined functional operational techniques. He has led and participated in multiple provincial and municipal-level research projects, and served as chief editor or co-editor for a comprehensive series of popular science books on otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
