Introduction:
Director Liu Haiyan served as Professor of Pediatrics and Director of Neonatology at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, and as a Pediatrics Supervision Expert for Guangzhou Medical University. She holds positions including Member of the Neonatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Vice Chairperson of its Genetic Metabolism Group; Member of the Expert Panel for the Guangdong Provincial Women and Children's Health Committee; and Vice Chairperson of the Guangzhou Municipal Women and Children's Health Committee. With four decades of experience in pediatric clinical practice, teaching, and research, she possesses extensive clinical expertise in common pediatric conditions.
Area Of Expertise:
Specializes in the emergency treatment of critical neonatal conditions, diagnosis and management of complications in premature infants, pediatric health care and early intervention guidance, assessment of growth, development, and nutritional status, as well as diagnosis and treatment of common respiratory and digestive disorders in children.
Academic Achievements:
As the first author, he has published over 30 papers in nationally recognized professional journals. He has led research projects including the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Program, the Guangdong Medical Science Foundation Project, the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Program, and projects funded by the Guangzhou Municipal Health Bureau. He has also participated in two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects. He served as the chief editor of the Clinical Skills Training Manual for Pediatrics at Guangzhou Medical University.
