Professor Liu Aidong possesses extensive clinical expertise in treating movement disorders (such as Parkinson's disease, dystonia, restless legs syndrome, and chorea), cognitive disorders (caused by Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, neurodegenerative and neuroinfectious diseases, traumatic brain injury, etc.), and neuroimmunological disorders (such as multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other neuroimmunological disorders.

Specializes in thrombolytic therapy for acute stroke, endovascular thrombectomy for acute stroke, endovascular embolization for intracranial aneurysms, and stenting and angioplasty for stenotic vessels.

Academic Achievements:
Professor Liu Aidong has presided over four provincial and ministerial-level research projects, published over 40 academic papers in Chinese and English, and served as chief editor or co-author for nine books. He has received one Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army and holds three national patents.
